Montgomery is very fortunate to be home to the Arts & Heritage Center of Montgomery. Every Kolacky Days celebration, the non-profit offers a unique exhibit highlighting Montgomery's proud past and promising future. The Arts & Heritage Center of Montgomery also displays a nice selection of Kolacky Days memorabilia. The Center is open on Thursday afternoon, Friday, and Saturday of Kolacky Days weekend. On Saturday, additional activities at the Center will include entertainment and food options like hot dogs, coffee, root beer floats, popcorn and kolacky.
Each year, the Center presents a NEW exhibit. For the 2016 celebration, it will be "Reflecting on Our Roots" The music group called "Beginnings" will also be present for a performance on Saturday of Kolacky Days! The music activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
